Been busy these days...

Coz of the stupid homeworks and the DSA stuffs.

Last Sunday, Studied tgt with chenghan,raphael and darryl. (Actually not studying, is chiong homework.. lol)

I completed quite a lot of works on that day...

Monday..

Slp at 4am in the morning..

I were watching gintama from 12am to 2am..

Then revised geog. >.>

Luckily I wasnt late for school..

The geog paper was easy and I guess I can score well again.. hahaha~~~

My assumptions on the questions coming out were correct.

Lessons next..

Nobody in the class is hardworking today.. LOL

As for the self-study session after school, I played Tower Defense on Melvin's phone for an hour lyk tat... LOL!!

Errm.. signing off and gonna finish my eng compo now...

Watched Transformers 2 today with chenghan,darryl and raphael.

Sry that I didnt invite others to join us.

Because it was last minute decision and the time slot suck...(10.30am in the morning.. lol)

Anw,4 of all reached there by 10.30 and the tickets were all sold.

So we watched the 11.30am one and had our lunch at BK.

As a result, we were late for guitar lesson for almost an hour...

Actually, the guitar lesson was supposed to be an hour.. LOL!!

Chenghan came with us for the guitar lesson too..

Even though he learnt nothing. =X

Then,we brought him to the red house..

Raphael saw a red color cloth on the rooftop of the building next to red house..

It was.... so scary... and.. it... looked exactly like the ghost in <>

It scared our ass out.. LOL~~~

I have taken a video, but I think im lazy to upload it..

The stupid idea of walking from red house to whitesand was really dumb...

Hot and thirty, as if we were walking in the desert...

We had our "afternoon tea" at whitesand and then headed home..

I should be finishing my english homework right now, but the usual ppl jio-ed mi for dota again..

LOL.

By the way, Raph told us that all teachers who have visited other countries will not come to school for the 1st week?

If this is true...

Then...

YES YES YES!!!!!!!! Muhahaa.....

As for the last IQ question..

The solution is here..

First thing first, we can tell that the same type people's group must be group two. And the type of people is neutral..

Because honest ppl will not lie, they are honest, so they will not say they are thieves.

Thieves will lie, so they will not say themselves are thieves.

So we can conclude all of the 30 ppl in group 2 are neutral.

Same thing applies to the next groups..

Only thieves and neutral ppl can sae they are neutral.

Therefore group 3 is the two types of ppl's group.

Thus, 15 thieves and 15 neutral.

As for the last group, it is clear that it was formed by 10 honest, 10 thieves and 10 neutral.

Lastly, add all the thieves as well as the neutral who said that they are thieves..(Well, I didnt add the neutrals who said they are thieves ,when I first attempted. -_-)

10+15+30=55 ppl living at the rectangular house.

Stucking at home and rotting..

I think I can hardly do any homework without pressure.

Anyway,I will just try my best to do them. :_:

Last IQ question I found on the book.

There are threee types of ppl living in an island.

The honest people live in triangular houses, they always speak the truth.

The thieves live in rectangular houses, they always lie.

The neutral people live in normal houses, what they said will become the truth.

A morning, there are 90 people on the island, they were grouped into three, each group 30 ppl.

One group of the three, the ppl in this group belong to the same type.

One group of the three, the ppl in this group belong to two different type of ppl with the ratio of 1:1

One group of the three,the ppl in this group belong to three type of ppl, each type 10ppl.

1st group said :" We're all honest ppl."

2nd group said:" We're all thieves."

3rd group said :" We're all neutral people."

How many people will be living in the rectangular houses at the end of the day?

Im so lazyyy to post~~~

Yet Im still posting.. lol!

Today.

Waked up at 8.30(lesson began at 8.30, LOL!) and reached school by 9.05..

After the lesson, darryl,chenghan,melvin,raphael and mi went to punggol plaza.

Played lan for an hour and had lunch at suki sushi.

Reached home and slept for hours....

Ytd was the BBQ session at a rooftop garden in punggol.

Its was meant for those who were born in May and June.

Happy birthday~~~~~~~(很虚伪,哈哈!!!)

Had loads of fun..

Also, I filled my stomach wif many prawns, since nobody wanted to eat the prawns,except cj and mi. hahas)

Many 经典 things happened..

Such as ----------------------------------------------

Gerald Goh was raped by the guys while a resident recorded it down from his house..(Luckily I didnt see it on stomp.com.sg LOL)

Anyway, I will just upload some pic and videos.

Hahas...

Im using laptop again, while my mum is sleeping.. =.=

All right,today went to PRC embassy again..

Then bought some clothes at orchard and had lunch at newyork newyork.

Errm.. We ordered lunch meal with a $2 add-on fries and another set of potato wages.

The amount of the $2 potato wages there equals to about $7 at school canteen store no.2 .....

Obviously, we didnt finish the fries and wages...

Maybe this is what they call XXL size(super size) in America.. lols~~~

Arhhhhhhhhhhhhh..

I realise I cant stay alive without computer and internet.. lols~~

Merely one day and my hands became so itchy.. =.=

Since It has been two days from now so Im lazy to blog about the cycling session on Wednesday.

Basically it was a failed session with many casualties, some physically and some mentally(LOL! I was hurt mentally------travelling in desert.....).

Anw.. For today,or rather yesterday, I rotted at home and studied a little bit..

Finished chemistry,finally.

Haizz.. I think I cant post regularly le, as my mum kept her laptop these days and my monitor was still being kept somewhere in the store room...

Here is the IQ question.

There are 5 pirates,numbered no.1 to no.5, and 100 gold coins.

Everyone of them is very clever and smart,greed. Surviving is most imporant to them.

Now,beginning from no.1, he is going to propose the distribution of the gold coins.

The others will vote, if more than 50% vore for yes(bigger than 50%,not 50%), then the gold will be distributed as no.1 proposed.

If the proposal failed,then the pirate will be killed and no.2 proposes the plan of distribution.

How would the no.1 pirate propose the plan so that he can get the most gold coins while surviving?

Today early in the morning(actually also not so early~~), cabbed to PRC's embassy.

My passport is expiring... -.-

In the end..,it needs parent's IC or whatever shit which my mum didnt bring..

lols.. Zzzz lehh....

Then returned home and did some homework.

It was like..

One hour of working and another hour of relaxing. ~~

Efficiency : Low.

Productivity : Normal.

Input: Low.

Bored.

Nth much except that my family went to the PC show at Suntec city today..

And i would lyk to share a joke I saw during the exhibition.

There was one area occupied by a brand named " Aquous" ( smth lyk tat).

There was another area taken by another brand "Toshiba".

Between the two stores, there was a very small stall.

Okay... Both Aquous and Toshiba were selling TV.

Each of the company has one seller speaking using amplifier.

Here comes the joke.

The man at "Toshiba" :" Come.. come.. last day of PC show, clearance sell!!! 800 Bucks for 32" TV."

Then, the man at "Aquous" :" Dun trust him.. He selling the TV at $800 all the while!!!!!!"

Then the conflict between the two company began..

It was lyk..

They were backstabing each other using amplifier, yet neither of them argued for their rights, they just kept saying bad staffs about each other...

It was super funny... lols~~~

Anw.. Overall the PC show was sucky..

Most things can be bought outside at same price..

I will also never forget the one and half hour we spent on waiting for taxi..

Okay.. today went for the guitar lesson tgt wif raphael..darryl ps-ed us..

Spent the 2 hours at Carmel church..(feeling weird as Im actually a freethinker..~~)

Learnt quite a lot today.. hahas~

Then, went back to Whitesand and registered my account for National Library Board.

50 bucks gone... T.T!!

Anw...I borrowed two books.

Headed home then.

Aiyaya... I havnt touch all my holiday assignments.

Guess I would need to force myself to do homework soon..

2nd last day of the june holiday lessons..

Actually, there are still 3 days more at the last week... 悲剧....

Errrm..I think being late for the lessons have became a habit..

Luckily I was merely late for 15mins today.. =X

Mid-year exam rally this morning..

I was somehow full already when I finished the 2nd slice..

lols.. But since I didnt wan to waste food.

So I ate the 3rd slice and another half..

Darrly did almost the same..

What happened next was that..

Both of us dragged ourselves back to school.. LOL

Today lesson was pretty fun..

Not to mention the details ,just that I had a usual chat wif the usual people on an usual topic..

Walked home and watched prison break..

Ytd's question was pretty lame.. The standard answer is that the customer added sugar into the tea. Therefore he knew that the new cup of tea was the old one... hehe~~~

Today...

Errm.. I woke up at 7.30... As I was very very tired, I watched prison break until 3am this morning..

So my mind refused to wake myself up and eventually I stepped out of the house only at 9.50 am..

I missed the physics practical lesson... <.<

Had geog lesson next..

Most of the 4A peeps had wasted the 2 hours as many were not doing the work given.. lols~~~

Next was the lunch session..

It was meant to be a "Eat together, stay together" session, but I didnt really see any bonds... =X

Chemistry next, it was quite boring... Except that some of us played with the distilled water..~~~

Orh.. yeah..

In case you may wanna play with the acids...

Use hydrochloric acid or sulphuric acid as they are the strongest of all chemicals available on the table.... LOL!!!

Spent the rest of the day watching prison break..

扑朔迷离的剧情似乎永远不会结束，但也只是似乎罢了....

The lions and one sheep question almost killed everyone.. lols..

It seems that thinking from a different perspective is very important..

Today is a simple question.

One customer ordered a cup of tea, but he found there was a fly floating on it..

So he called the waiter and asked him to give him a new cup of tea.

Waiter did so..

However, minutes later, the customer shouted :" It's still that cup of tea just now!!"

How did the customer found out that??

I was late for 40 mins today for the first lesson.

I was unable to wake up.. lols

Anw.. Few hours of maths and 2 hours of geog today..

Boring leh.. =.=

Reached home at 4pm today.(We were released at 3.40pm, LOL!)

And began watching anime.

Anw I hope the conflict between someone and mi is over..

Back to the question that I posted few days ago..

Seems that nobody is really interested in the question except darryl.. lol

Never mind, darrl. Even though you tried quite hard but ur answer is far far away from the correct one... lols~~~

If im not the wrong..

To solve this question, we need to use Proof by contradiction.(To the extent of my understanding, I guess this is what it is called.. hehe)

8 lions and 1 sheep.

No lions will eat the sheep unless one can ensure his safety.

In other words, when they can ensure their safety , they will eat the sheep.

But how to ensure that the lion is safe or not??

We have to begin with 1 lion on the grass field.

1 lion and 1 sheep.

Of couse, the lion will eat the sheep as there are no other lions.

2 lions on the field.

Nobody will dare to eat the sheep. Because if either one eats it, then the other one will eat it.

Therefore, the sheep will be safe when there are 2 lions.

3 lions on the field.

The 3rd lion know that the previous 2 lions dare not to eat the sheep. (This is why I said the statement of lions are clever, smart is very important)

Thus, the 3rd lion can eat the sheep with no worries. Because as the 3rd lion eat the sheep, there are 2 lions and 1 sheep left. The remaining 2 lions will not eat the sheep, as stated above.

4 lions on the field.

The 4th lion know if it eats the sheep. Then, the 3rd lion will eat the 4th lion. Safety comes first, therefore the sheep will not be eaten when there are 4 lions.

5 lions on the field.

The 5th lion knew that the 4th lion will not eat the sheep. Therefore, the 5th lion may eat the sheep as it can ensure its safety.

So you guys can see the trend now??

Odd number of lions, the sheep dies... (悲剧，lol!!!)

Even number of lions, the sheep is safe. =X

Yeah.. so the final answer is that the 8th lion will not eat the sheep.

I catch no balls when I first saw this question too. Until I saw the anser then I found out how interesting this question is.. =D

Ytd slp at 4am as I was watching Prisonbreak..

Today woke up at 12pm and slp for another 2 hours after my lunch.. =.=!!

Studied English today..Less than 2 hours actually.. hehe~~

Jotting down english vocabs all the while...

Since I dun have the foundation, den I will need to build it myself. <.<

Den we went to Carmel church for guitar lesson...

Watched prison break again before went out for dinner.

It's the 3rd time we went to seafood restaurant this month.

I tot there is financial crisis?? lols.

Den went to Suntec city before we went home.

Today is the day for Maths..

Well..

Woke up earlier than usual and walked to school..

Had Maths lessons from 8am to 3.30 pm... =.=!!!!

For the 1 hour lunch break.

Yeezheng,guowan,melvin,siying and mi actually headed to punggol plaza to have sushi for lunch..

As Mdm.yap said :" Okay okay lah... fast come back horr.."

So we were late for half an hour when we reached class.. LOLS!!

The more funny part is that..

We all planned to sabo yeezheng if we get caught.. LOL!!!

Anw.. Mdm.yap didnt sae anything.. hehe~~

So slacked in the afternoon.

For 3.30pm to 4.45pm..

We were talking crapp in a group of 7.(or it was 6?)

So let mi tell you today's question..

This is gonna be a tough one and it requires real intelligence..

There is a grass field..

There are lions and sheep on it.

Here comes the rules.

1.lions eat grass when there is no sheep.

2.lions are very clever,smart.(!!!important!!!)

3.lions eat sheep.(They prefer sheep than grass)

4.Once lion eats a sheep, the lion will become a sheep too.

(which means the sheep is dead and the lion becomes a new sheep)

5.To lions, life is the most important of all.. No matter what happen, they will not let other lions eat them.

(Summarise for you)Therefore, whenever a lion can eat a sheep and meanwhile he can ensure no other lions can eat itself, the lion will eat the sheep.

Okay..

Question: There are 8 lions and one sheep on the field now.

Will the 8th lion eat the sheep?

Well..

The solution is here..

Assume each of them said the truth..

Den u can deduce that others' statements were false.

Therefore, after assuming all 4..

You will realise that if assuming A/B/C said the truth..

Den there would be contradictions between the statements.

Only D said the truth.

Therefore C is the killer..

This is the only correct way to solve the question..

Think carefully and u will realise it's actually quite easy.. lols~~

Question for today.. (This 1 I didnt manage to get the correct answer on my own.. Really IQ in a way)

A and B went to a bar.

One waiter came to serve them.(A,B and the waiter didnt know one another.)

A put 50 cents on the table.

Tiring..

Ytd 3am slp as I was playing dota..

Den woke up 10am today..

Bathed.. met wif cj,darryl, ch at bus stop..

Took 89 to E!hub and met others....

Watched 天使与魔鬼..

Den had lunch..

Den some went hm and some went to bugis..

At bugis, we met kw n gerald..

Den went to brass plaza..

Buy old books.. =.=!!!

Anw im not so interested in story books and i couldnt find the books i wan..

So I bought only 1 book, which is <测试你的IQ>

LOLS...

Okay...The book is to kill my time when im super free...

Den bought some national geographic magazines which all of us shared..

So...

Darryl,ch,yz and mi went hm next..

While gerald, kevin and karwong went to expo for food fair..(People now can hardly earn some bucks nowadays due to financial crisis... how can you!!!!.... LOL!!!!)

Anw... reached hm at 8... lols... Quite late...

I randomly picked a question from the book I bought..

A,B,C,D are 4 persons who were present where another guy was murdered..

The police asked them who killed the guy.

A said:"B killed the guy."

B said:"D killed the guy."

C said:" I didnt kill anyone."

D said:"B lied."

Maybe because it was the first O-lv paper and I was over excited.

Yeah.. So I actually didnt have a good slp ytd..

Anw.. Paper 1 was extremely easy.

I still thought H1N1 would come out.. In the end....

Overall paper 1 was still okay.. I think im able to maintain my standard,but wouldnt be too high as

Lols... Also quite easy..

Surprisingly, one of the comprehension passage was about Dr. William Tan..

Anw, finished the paper but didnt have the time to chk through..

Prison Break season 4 has ended and it was the last season..

Going to finish this show in the June holiday..

Prison Break is Highly recommanded to everyone..

Also found out that Prison Break has its movie coming out soon. =D

Anw,since Chinese is not important anymore,so we should watch more english show. =)
